The Mahogany walls and columns are original, so are the amazing high ceilings, adorned with delicately painted details. The whole of New York City was searched to find two antique crystal chandeliers to illuminate the elegant interior. On the back wall, from a stunning mural, pale faces haunt the room like benevolent ghosts of a gentler era.

The cuisine at the Madison is classic and nostalgic. The best steaks available in the United States - chops, lamb, duck, and fish dishes are reminiscent of a time when food was unpretentious but elegant, and filled you with warmth.The Madison accommodates private parties from 10 to 400 and does outside catering.

The mahogany bar is spectacular. Whether before or after dinner, it is a comfortable place to meet friends.

On Friday and Saturday evening, we have a piano player playing our beautiful grand piano.  The musician usually starts playing around 7:30pm
